Thanks to SR glass, color error correction is particularly effective for the blue, i.e. short-wave, portions of the spectrum, which are otherwise difficult to compensate. You achieve sharper images and higher contrast.

Video shots can be controlled smoothly and precisely. The lens features a depth-of-field scale that lets you easily determine the minimum and maximum distances at each aperture. Focus breathing has been almost completely eliminated. The aperture is controlled with high precision, so there is a natural adjustment of exposure within a setting.
