12-24 mm G-type super wide-angle zoom lens with an effective focal length range of 18-36 mm relative to 35 mm format. The use of ED glass minimizes chromatic aberrations. This increases color brilliance and achieves higher resolution. The lens is equipped with Nikon's Silent Wave motor. This ensures extremely fast and virtually silent automatic focusing. Three aspherical lens elements ensure particularly high edge-to-edge sharpness and very low distortion. Not suitable for use with analog 35 mm SLR cameras.
