Compared to the previous BD 8x42, the new BD 8x42 XD PROMINAR offers an approximately 20% larger field of view.
 
Compact dimensions
The compact body of the BD42 XD PROMINAR series has the dimensions of binoculars in the 32mm class, but at the same time offers the power and brightness reserves of the 42mm class with extreme handiness.
