For the first time at LUMIX: Apple ProRes Codec Video
Using a CFexpress Type B card (MOV, 5.7K, 5728 x 3024, 29.97p/25.00p/24.00p), you can record video internally in ProRes 422 HQ and ProRes 422 Codec - the professional industry standard that delivers high image quality with low compression. This significantly reduces the load on your computer during post-production and enables NLE (non-linear editing) without transcoding, making your workflow more efficient from start to finish.

Ideal for small production crews and in demanding conditions when mobility and high quality are required. Also enables simultaneous internal and external recording via HDMI output.
7.5-Step Dual I.S. (Image Stabilization)
5-axis Dual I.S. (Image Stabilization) combines Body I.S. and Lens O.I.S. control to provide 7.5 stops of correction.
10-bit HFR/VFR recording
High-resolution slow-motion recording, which has recently gained popularity in video production, is now possible as 10-bit HFR video recording with audio in C4K/4K 120p/100p. The LUMIX GH6 also offers a wide range of 10-bit ALL intra-recording modes for high-level editing, making it possible to record HFR video at FHD 240p/200p and VFR video at FHD 240 frames per second. With VFR, you can record video in up to 12.5x super slow motion (FHD 10-bit 24p/300fps).
New Venus Engine
The new Venus Engine processor provides about twice as much processing power as before, laying the foundation for ultra-fast processing of the new sensor's higher pixel count. It also enables videos with higher resolution and higher bit rate. Image quality has also been significantly improved. Intelligent detail processing provides higher resolution, and new 2D and powerful 3D noise reduction (for video) reliably reduces noise. The result is lifelike, 3D-like images with minimal noise even at high sensitivity. High-precision Dual 3D Color Control produces improved color reproduction (brightness, saturation, and hue), resulting in more realistic and intense color representation.
New 25.2-megapixel sensor
The LUMIX GH6 camera features the first 25.2-megapixel live MOS sensor in the Micro Four Thirds™ system standard. With no low-pass filter, the design not only enables a higher pixel count, but also improved resolution for ultra-realistic detail. The higher readout speed enables C4K/4K video recording at 120p and continuous shooting at 75 frames per second when using the electronic shutter. At the same time, rolling shutter distortion is minimized.
